Kothibe Mokomane, affectionately known as “KK” by her close family and friends, is a vibrant 7-year-old Grade 1 learner from the Sekhukhune District in Limpopo, South Africa. She is the proud International Junior Miss South Africa (IJMSA) 2026 Princess Winner. 

KK is a God-loving young girl with a joyful spirit and an endless curiosity about the world. An avid reader, she loves discovering new things through books and is known for her talkative nature, inquisitive mind, and eagerness to learn. 

Her greatest passion is modelling, where she confidently expresses her creativity and personality. She also enjoys gymnastics, singing, and even creating her own original songs. 

When she’s not on stage or reading a book, KK enjoys her favourite meal of chicken feet with pap and spinach, and she never says no to her mama’s delicious homemade malva pudding with custard. 

One of KK’s greatest joys is spending time with babies and young children. At church, she can often be found helping in the babies’ section, where her caring and nurturing heart shines brightly. 

As a young ambassador, KK is passionate about advocating for children’s mental wellness. She believes every child deserves to feel happy, confident, and emotionally supported. Through reading, drawing, and colouring activities, she encourages creativity while promoting positive mental well-being. Her mission is to create safe, joyful spaces where children can connect, express themselves, and build confidence. 

Looking ahead, KK dreams of expanding her initiative by providing more Colouring Kits to children across South Africa. Through her platform, she hopes to inspire young people to believe in themselves, embrace their creativity, and prioritize their mental wellness—one colourful page at a time.
