History
International Junior Miss (IJM) was founded in 2008 in the USA by Nikki Clark. In 2019, Tidimalo Tlhabi together with 8 girls from South Africa attended International Junior Miss competition in Orlando Florida USA after the unforgettable experience Tidimalo applied and was awarded the directorship of the pageant in South Africa. 2020 saw the birth of International Junior Miss South Africa.
IJM was acquired from Miss Nikki by The Pageant Powerhouse in 2021. IJM South Africa is a proud franchisee of the Pageant Powerhouse in South Africa.
About us
International Junior Miss was created to encourage positive achievement by helping to build self-awareness in our youth and young woman of today and it is open to girls aged 4yrs to 24yrs. IJM is “The crown of opportunities”.
International Junior Miss was recognized by pageant planet as offering the #1 International Level prize package.
IJM encourages a healthy lifestyle as no swimsuit competition is required. Contestants compete in 3 main categories. Evening wear, Fun Fashion, and interview.
IJMSA is the epitome of beauty with brains. We award girls for academic excellence, talent, runway, and many more awards as we believe every child must go home with an award.
We celebrate the girl’s talent through arts and culture and encourage all girls to take part irrespective of color, size, religion, and class. We further encourage tourism at a young age as we host in a different province each year.

A non-south African unfortunately cannont enter the South African Pagent , however they can get hold of our South African Director to get an opportunity to compete at the International Pageant.
