As a vibrant and ambitious 11-year-old, I, Tshireletso Nkotsi, am passionate about pursuing my dreams and making a positive impact in my community. With a strong foundation in modeling, dance, and sports, I have learned the importance of perseverance, self-confidence, and building meaningful connections with others.

My Passions:

• Dance: A platform where I can express myself freely and creatively. As a hip-hop dancer at Roots Dance Studios, I have achieved North West Provincial colors and represented the province at national competitions for two consecutive years.
• Modeling: A journey that has taught me valuable skills and helped me develop a strong sense of self. I am proud to have won the International Junior Miss South Africa (IJMSA) pre-teen category in 2025.
• Sports: I enjoy playing netball at Klerksdorp Primary School, where I held the title of Miss KPS (Jnr) 2024. I also love swimming at Aqua Swim School.
• Helping Others: Inspired by my 5-year-old brother’s journey with speech impediments and autism, I aspire to become a Logopedist (Speech Therapist). Although his autism is mild, I have seen the impact that speech therapy can have on his communication skills, and I want to help other children like him. His speech impediment has taught me the importance of patience, understanding, and effective communication. I have seen firsthand how speech therapy can make a significant difference in his ability to express himself and connect with others. His autism diagnosis has shown me the value of acceptance, empathy, and inclusivity. I have learned to appreciate the unique perspectives and strengths that individuals with autism bring to our community.
• Family Support: I am grateful for the love and support of my family, who encourage me to pursue my passions and make a difference in the lives of others.

As the IJMSA Pre-Teen, I aim to use this platform to amplify the voices of autistic children and support initiatives that promote their well-being. I believe that with hard work, determination, and a commitment to making a difference, I can inspire positive change and leave a lasting impact.

I am excited to embark on this journey as the IJMSA Pre-Teen, representing my country with pride and passion. With the IJMSA “crown of opportunities,” I am confident that I will have the platform to pursue my dreams and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
